CISV educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world.
Saturday, September 7
10:30-4:30 NEW START TIME
Carnegie Library in Lawrenceville
279 Fisk Street
Pittsburgh PA 15201
Lunch will be provided.
The meeting room is on the lower level.
A public parking lot is located at Butler and 42nd streets. Do not park in the lot next to the library.
Our chapter is at a crossroads. We will be brainstorming ways to increase participation, recruit volunteers and more.
If CISV was meaningful to your family, provided a life-changing experience for you or your child, or helped you gain a new perspective on the world, please join us.
Our chapter board is considering whether there is enough interest to continue for another year, or if we should shut down after more than 35 years.
Please plan on attending the entire day, or a portion of the day.
CISV USA board member Valerie Maurais will facilitate.
Please email Pittsburgh@cisvusa.org with questions.
NOTE: The Junior Branch will not be leading discussions for youth during this retreat. We will plan a gathering later in September. Kids are welcome but they will be participating with the adults.
