Must be 16 -17 during the length of the program.
Complete applications must be submitted by JANUARY 1st to CISV USA to be considered in the first round of invitations.
Applications after that time will be considered but priority will be given to those who submit before the deadline.
1) Apply directly to CISV USA by January 1, 2025.
Each applicant should complete the application, including the essay (Seminar Application), and submit it to cisvusa@cisvusa.org and seminar@cisvusa.org. Applications not sent to both emails will be considered incomplete.
Communication and submission of an application should be through prospective delegates, not parents. A Seminar program is designed to grow delegates as leaders and self-advocators. This begins with the application process, meaning all communication should come from the delegate’s own personal email.
Complete Applications will have the following:
- The entire application packet with full preferences (see below) completed Seminar Camp Application
- Proof of Age (copy of driver’s license, birth certificate or passport)
- Two personal recommendations Youth Delegate Reference Form (teachers, coaches, former leaders, family friends, JB advisors, etc.)
- Chapter Endorsement Form Seminar Camp Chapter Endorsement Form (To be sent from your Chapter President at pittsburgh@cisvusa.org – please note, parents cannot endorse their own children)
- Questions can be directed to National Seminar Chair, Julia Beasley at seminar@cisvusa.org or Laura Ripberger at cisvusa@cisvusa.org.
2) Fill out the following online chapter forms:
3) Email the signed Seminar Fees to pittsburgh@cisvusa.org
4) Pay the $50 membership fee. Applicants may apply to more than one program but pay only one application fee.
