DESCRIPTION:November Activity – Postponed until Nov 8.\nWe are starting up our monthly activities for the first Sunday of every month\, if weather allows. Although we won’t be able to have normal chapter meetings\, we still want to be able to get together. It will be a great way to get back into the CISV spirit after not being able to travel this past summer. \nThis month’s activity will be about sustainability\, specifically focused on conserving the resources we use everyday. The activity was planned by two of our amazing JB Board members. \nThe activity will take place in lower Frick Park\, in a field next to the parking lot accessed by Hutchinson Street in Regent Square. \nBring chairs and blankets to sit on. Masks will be required and social distancing will be in place. We hope to see everyone there!!!!! \nDress warmly since it will be chilly on Sunday. \nCheck Back for registration

DESCRIPTION:CISV Pittsburgh is hosting CISV USA’s annual conference!\nFriday to Sunday\, October 14 – 16 \nHyatt Regency at the Pittsburgh International Airport \nWe need volunteers to make it a success! \nCISV in Motion is a GREAT opportunity to get more involved with CISV nationally and locally\, learn more about our organization\, and meet other energized CISVers from around the country. \nWe need volunteers to run the CISV store and assist the conference organizers. We also need a family to host an adult CISVer from Costa Rica on Sunday\, October 16. \nVolunteers are able to participate in conference sessions (after completing their volunteer duties) and attend the Awards Dinner on Saturday evening. \nCISV Pittsburgh will reimburse volunteers up to $15 for a meal while volunteering. \nSIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER HERE

Join chapters from Philadelphia\, Brandywine Valley\, and Washington D.C. for a weekend-long camp\, planned by the Junior Branch board presidents! \nMoving Mountains RMC Pre-Camp \nWHEN \nApril 21-23\, 2023 \nCheck in: Friday\, April 21\, 7 p.m. \nCheck out: Sunday\, April 23\, 11 a.m. \nWHERE \nHorsham\, Pa. \nWHY \nRMC is a place to make new friends\, get a taste of a CISV international camp\, and have fun! \nWHO \nYouth ages 10+ \nChaperones needed – 23+ with a valid driver’s license. (We will do background and driving record checks). \nCOST \nThe registration fee for RMC (including meals and a t-shirt) is $140 by March 20; $155 after. \nIf there are enough registrants\, the Pittsburgh chapter will arrange transportation at an additional cost\, to be determined. \nFree for chaperones. \nJB scholarship application can be found here to cover up to 50% of the registration cost. \nHOW \nREGISTER HERE \nInform the Pittsburgh chapter that you registered so we can arrange transportation if there are enough participants: Pittsburgh@cisvusa.org
