Do not park in the lot next to the library. \nWe need you!\nOur chapter is at a crossroads. We will be brainstorming ways to increase participation\, recruit volunteers and more. \nIf CISV was meaningful to your family\, provided a life-changing experience for you or your child\, or helped you gain a new perspective on the world\, please join us. \nOur chapter board is considering whether there is enough interest to continue for another year\, or if we should shut down after more than 35 years. \nPlease plan on attending the entire day\, or a portion of the day. \nCISV USA board member Valerie Maurais will facilitate. \nPlease email Pittsburgh@cisvusa.org with questions. \nNOTE: The Junior Branch will not be leading discussions for youth during this retreat. Not the cabins.) \nPICK UP: 10:00-11:00 am Sunday\, April 28th \n(Please arrive on time for pick-up. We will be turning the cabins and meeting rooms back over to Camp Letts after 11 a.m.) \nTRANSPORTATION: \nTransportation is not provided by CISV DC. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, January 21\, please join us for a (free) Meet and Greet at the East Liberty Branch of the Carnegie Library from 12:00 – 1:30 pm. Come for pizza and drinks and meet our members who have participated in our international programs. \nLearn more about our 2023 international programs.  \nCISV\, founded in 1950\, offers international programs for youth ages 11 – 17 that educate and inspire action for a more just and peaceful world\, foster cross-cultural friendships and teach leadership skills that last a lifetime. \nThe CISV Pittsburgh chapter was founded in 1989 and has provided more than 900 students the opportunity to participate in CISV programs worldwide. Our chapter is one of 26 chapters across the country that make up CISV USA\, which is a member of CISV International with 69 countries and 200 chapters across the globe. \nWe’d love to tell you all you need to know to get involved.
